Female Irma with the chick, a few hours old

Osprey         Kalakotkas           Pandion haliaetus

A little past 5 o’clock it happened – the osprey chick was hatched. It may take a couple of days to the next hatching.

Once more: the incubation lasted 38 days and the eggs were laid in the nest on May 2nd, 5th and 8th.
