Although in an enclosure  the lynxes rather prefer  to keep themselves to themselves. The only time when they look for being close to each other  is the heat period but we will have time to write about that later..

On the stormy Saturday night  the hoarse calls of the lynxes were heard and an active movement seen. On Sunday all three inhabitants in the enclosure were in camera view at the same time.

It seems that an interesting period is coming. For the weekend frosty weather is predicted: will it change the behaviour of the animals? In the camera forest tawny owls call in the darkness …

Camera viewers  are slightly disturbed by a low ”ticking” noise at one-second intervals. The noise is caused by the operation of the electric fence relay of the lynx enclosure. We hope to  eliminate this with a shielded power line but it will take some time.
