A video record from the ELKS anniversary celebration conference in the Estonian National Museum where nearly 500 people attended. The Rail Baltica was one of the main topics of our conference.

We continue the fight for a reasonable Rail Baltic. We must achieve a situation where the new government and the Minister of Economy will critically review the work done up to now, involving scientists, experts and the public, to end the overdimensioning.

We need a proper railway connection to Riga from Tartu as well as from Pärnu. Lower speeds so existing rails can be used more. It will generate more benefits and the construction and subsequent use will be cheaper. Ultimately it is our own money that we are spending. There are no free lunches.
