Last night the chicks were alone in the nest for the first time.
5:33 Big mouthful. one larv falls to the bottom of the nest.

9:35 there was still food left in the nest, mother takes it away.


They grow very fast. it seems that they are darker than in the morning.

Starlings are always in movement, sleep a bit, preen a bit, open their mouthes, crawling a bit and so on... :D

EDIT - on the next day.
12:20 parent did not come in, but was there. Chicks shock has passed.

13:45 parent first time in the nest with food.

On the front page of Looduskalender it's supposed to have been European pine marten (Martes martes).
