I have inserted a list of birds and mammals observed at Metsküla beach(Jackal cam)
viewtopic.php?p=573807#p573807
After that the cam moved to Põgari-Sassi, where we are now.

If we can see the Bumblebee, we can also see the little Lapwings. I hope

I still don't know where the Lapwing nests are. I think there are three pairs in the view, one of them pretty close with perhaps a nest to the right but possibly just out of sight. But I am sure we will see young from that pair (when the eggs survive).

18:41:23 Strange bird(?) sound, some sort of grouse. Almost sounded man-made...

Marfo, often it is clearly from Lapwing but sometimes I am not sure. We have earlier heard some kind of strange pheasant.

The foreground, and probably also elsewhere, is full of small yellow flowers but I can't see what it is. Potentilla, Ranunculus? They are visited by bees and butterflies.

This afternoon I noticed for the first time a Black-tailed Godwit. Singing. I already had given up hope.

No, not lapwing, I'm familiar with their sound.
Like I said, some sort of grouse, but some sort of pheasant could very well be the case.

I suspect a Lapwing nest somewhere around this area.

Dunlin can often be heard but unfortunatly not close. Breeding Dunlins are a speciality of this area.

The last (and only) time was April 13. Perhaps nobody listens that late often, and we had a period of strong wind and one with low volume.

10:46 A Hare running by but I was to late for a decent picture.

There are not only yellow flowers but also many pink ones. The are pretty big but I can't see enough to tell what it are.
