What is interesting for me is that I have never heard these notes from Boka. Just as the tenderness between the partners at Boka and Lui was never or hardly to be seen. She (Boka) mostly used the Kik'kik-kik or simple kik even during the incubation changes. Quieter, of course, but I never heard her say 'begging'.
Well, our H's are still very close to the age when they begged and kissed as siblings. They may still feel this bondage experience very fresh. And maybe next year they will appear completely different and there will be fewer kisses and begging calls.

Emiliano, can you imagine the chicks uttering sounds? That there is an "Egg - Talk"?
Condition that these eggs are actually fertilized.

I have read that siblings already communicate with each other in the egg shell and even give warning signals.

I start briefly to wind through the day of our troubled H's. I'm in a bit of a hurry, so not in detail.

04:29 I start and I see H21 ... hear the hard wind and the rain.

In the meantime, H21 should be 'soaked'. Maybe not. I don't know how many hours of persistent wetness the upper plumage can withstand.

It is good that there are no chicks yet.

04:54 H44 lands in the nest, jumps onto the side branch and climbs a little higher.

I see H21 in the nest - not soaked. That pleases me.
