11:18 H21 flies off-road
19:24-29 she calls with different tones
21:34 - 43, 49 - 54
22:05 - 09, 22-29, 53-56
23:52 - 56
25:51 - 54
These tones sound angry.
I pondered the reason - there were no other participants. She was probably hoping for food for herself (there was food in the nest) but H44 was apparently not prepared and not in the field.

11:26 H21 returns to the nest with a branch in frustration.

12:35 - 13:02 feeding
H21 was already twitching indecisively at the food, constantly looking 'outside' into the area ...
Again it's Mini who started to try his hand at eating.

13:03 H21 leaves the nest down below. No calls.
14:03/04 H44 takes over the watch in the nest.

Brief sight seeing ... :innocent:

Now H21 can also be heard in the area.

14:05 H21 back in the nest with bigger food.

(Absent for over an hour. It could mean that she was on the hunt herself. But also that she is watching away from the nest.) No feeding

14:09 She leaves the nest again.

14:40 She comes back to the nest with a dry branch.
Was she just up in the tree?

17:44 H21 brings more food again
Image

Image

(17:39 she left the nest, calling in the area. Absent 5 minutes = probably handover of H44.)

Feeding until 18:02.
Mini very active again.

Next feeding 22:09 - 27
Food in the nest now used up. H21 brought another dry branch .... then slowly sleep.

Gorgeous chick

June 15th

:hi: :innocent:

Deliveries so far ...

05: 50/51 H44 brings a little bird.
Image

Image

H21 trains her voice loudly while there is no sound from H44. His body and beak movements suggest loving 'gjak' but it remains toneless.
He leaves the nest in the group of trees on the left. He lingers there while H21 looks after him and calls after him a little longer. She sees him.

No feeding.

06:52 H21 moves to the side branch.
Image

06:59 She leaves the tree far back into the terrain.

07:01 H44 takes over.
07:04 ... he pulls the little bird up, what he brought before. H44 seems a bit indecisive. Does he want to feed? Should he feed ... can he feed?

Image

Image

He always picks it up, puts it on the chicks ... waits to see what happens.

.... And it happens that H21 returns. :D

07:06 She comes back and brings a slightly larger bird with her. Not big, not medium, but bigger than the little bird that brought H44.

Image

H44 leaves the nest. Of course... .

Back - H21, three chicks and two small prey.
Image

Feeding!
Only one of the birds is fed.
Correction: But both were fed.

There is new food:

08:11 H21 first leaves the side branch into the group of trees.
Image

08:55 leaves this place steeply down into the undergrowth.

09:04 H21 back with food.

10 minutes later...

(The new first tail feathers have grown great. Clearly the 'V' .... Emiliano :hi: )

H21 seems to feel that the next few days will be hot and has been bringing many fresh twigs into the nest for a few minutes.
There are high temperatures announced for the coming period.

10:08 For now, the last branch to be pushed under the chicks.
Image

10:09 H21 leaves the nest steeply down into the undergrowth.

H21 looks very good. She is well nourished and looks strong. :innocent:
(Even if she looks a bit strained from building a nest at the moment. :D)

12:02 To see and hear ... H21 hops down one floor.
Like yesterday she was apparently higher in the tree so as not to leave her nest too far.

Image

However, it was heard at 10:37, 38, 41 and 42 in the field.

12:19 She'll stay up there for now.

14:17 H21 now jumps down into the nest, looks briefly between her chicks and jumps over to the side branch.

Youth dress will soon have replaced down.

14:46:36 'Gjak' from H44 from the area and H21 flies there in a hurry and with loud meowing.
Their calls can be heard until '48. :D

15:15 H21 is on the way to the nest.
Image

The chicks come to the table well, but H21 came back with empty claws. She looks briefly into the nest, flutters onto the side branch and flies back into the area.
Maybe I'm wrong, but her plumage looks damp?

With luck and a genetics hand, a chicken could also get the "V" (It would be too much)

16:21 There is movement in the crawling lesson.
The chicks are probably beginning to feel a longing for H21 and are hungry. Today they are key children ... a lot alone. (in the nest)

16:28:45 H21 starts shouting in the area.
It sounds like it's moving. There are also calls from crows and seagulls.
In 29:33 she lands above the nest in the tree, continues calling.
A few moments later she jumps down to her chicks, everyone is cuddled up. :innocent:
