Hello everyone

I could rewind from 05:29 ... no sign of Bubo today.
Unfortunately I cannot say whether he called last night or earlier in the morning or visited his nest. I can no longer rewind these times.
06:14 Around the same time as yesterday, the birds of the forest begin to greet the day. :)
07: 45/46 a woodpecker is working a tree again. I rarely hear woodpeckers. There don't seem to be many. At least not there in this area.
07:47, 08: 12/15/41 calls a pigeon. Not heard too often. :)

The weather has not really become much friendlier. The storm completely destroyed Bubo's order. He will not be very enthusiastic and there are a few sticks in his hollow that are definitely not allowed to be there. Even fresh fir green.



So far I haven't heard Bubo.

I'm going to slow down the documentation a bit. (Not finishing)
However the nest ...Bubo continue to observe exactly and report more generally and less time-consuming.

It is understandable that the season for many other nests starts now and the focus is on these. So nice forest stories are not so much in demand anymore. :)
In the meantime I consider a successful brood to be impossible. Unless a miracle happens.

Evening visit from 20:34 to 20:39

20:32 Finally a sign from Bubo :)
20:34 landing on the nest edge. Bubo calls into his nest and initially remains on the nesting beach. Finally he jumps in and does what he has to do - take care of the nest. Of course, he discovered the chaos and immediately arranged sticks.





20:36 he stands in front of the nest, a little excited and calls out.
20:39 lightning start in the forest.

Bubo continues to call.

April 4th

Evening visit from 20:50 to 20:53

Bubo took a lot of time for his first visit in the evening. :)
It could be heard in the morning from 06:21 - 06:25 without being in the nest. The dogs were also very restless that morning.



Bubo lands at 20:50 on the edge of the nest, pauses there and finally jumps into his nest. He calls ... he is very relaxed. From 20:51 he orientates himself a lot upwards. He constantly looks up - in all directions. There seems to have been a lot of air traffic.
20:53 Bubo goes to the nest beach. A little more nervous and expectant, he calls into the forest and leaves his nest a few moments later.

No more calls after leaving the nest.

Short visit from 21:01 to 21:02 :)

Bubo is nervous and looks a bit chased. He keeps looking in all directions and shouts uneasily in all tones.

Unfortunately, I was already off my tablet yesterday. But Bubo was there. If you are interested, please call our neighboring forum. I can only add Bubo's calls at 19:22 and 19:40. Individual calls.

This morning I started rewinding at 05:30.
How I love to hear just Bubo in my ears. :) He continuously calls until 05:57.
Quiet, expectant and stressful - everything included. For our Bubo, the race is not over yet. :) I am now making a serious mistake - I switch to Teo. The events there take my rewind time and I miss Bubo's time in the nest.
Our Latvian forum is better positioned.

I can only add that Bubo also calls after his visit.

April 6th

Evening visit from 19:34 to 19:37

Bubo ends up nicely in his nest. He does his thing ... wait and see ... adorable. Such a patient and beautiful animal. :)

Bubo easily flies directly into the nest. He plows and calls and his tail feathers are relaxed.




20:06 ... Bubo stands up. He's a little excited. Bubo is standing long in front of his corner. This sight hurts me so much ....

Visit from 20:30 to 20:34

A quiet visit. :) Plowing, of course ... something, shouting and sorting sticks, but overall very nice and not very excited.
It is not until 20:33 that Bubo strolls to the edge of the nest and calls there before he leaves the nest.

Visits 21:54 to 21:58

A slightly more excited bubo.
He throws short high notes and now wears his tail feathers openly. Bubo gnaws sticks again and from 21:57 he fixes the darkness of the forest very meticulously.
I am not wearing headphones today and cannot say whether there is anything to be heard.
