INFO
This Webcam in Germany hasn't been installed again nor activated after the failure with a new nest site in 2012.
The involved institution for this 2011 started project is the Federal Forestry in Rhineland-Palatinate. On their homepage there are still all details on the BS in Germany: http://www.wald-rlp.de/index.php?id=1554 – in Deutsch!
Although they have got the technical equipment, reasons for the missing reinstallation are assumed in the lack of personal (no volunteers in this institution), and not least, financial.
Sorry  .
Instead of that thread we can trust in the constant BS cam activities of SOLON, a French-Belgic nature association, founded by Gérard Jadoul, Marc Cimino et al.
Here http://www.solon.be/category/la-cigogne-noire you find a collection of videos from a nest with successful breeds for years (in 2013: 3 storklets). But because of the comments it helps if you understand some French.
Also there are some brand new different sequences (http://vimeo.com/70067291 etc.) - from a cam at a brook! While the nest cam parents are unringed, the BS there wears rings.
A good impression of how a BS is catching fish!

We close this topic for the moment as there is nothing to see or comment on. If there should be a new camera somewhere in Germany next year, we are happy to get hints and we will open a new topic for it then.
