at 10.51-52 they removed eggshell to the nest rim.

The storklet was put at the edge on the nest in the evening and it was still alive and chirping. At 5.40 it was already dead. :cry: Maybe last year the fourth one was also killed but I found that cam only in June.

Right now(14.38) two storklets in Gemenс are trying to swallow one thick viper.

admin wrote last year on this nest were 3 eggs and 3 storklet fledged
this year it is new female

today it was one feeding - fish for the elder chick, and few snackes for the younger
that is the second meal
also previous days we noticed only 2x food delivery, but yesterday it was better food for storklets

in the area is very dry, they had not food for storklets :-(

Last year in Libstad I watched the scene of snake feeding: the stork gave a viper to the chicks, the chicks couldn't eat it and the parent swallowed it himself. Storklets stayed hungry. :(
