Re: Estonian White-tailed Sea Eagle Nest Camera 2020
thank you for the observation, laranjeiras!
it looked like a big bird but the voice did not belong to an eagle. i can't say what it was...? maybe a buzzard? or some other bird of pray?

the buzzards are still around
one came to the nest at 9.13
the second one came about 30 seconds later
and the first flew out of the nest almost immediately
they seem to like it here

they called to each other for a while
at 9.15 the buzzard who'd gone, came back and they both stayed on the nest a while
I cannot tell if they have brought twigs/sticks - they are fast and my eyesight not that good. Also - I do not know what kind of buzzards these are
9.17 one flew away then, seconds later the next one did
first one flying away
and they both came back at 9.24
some to'ing and fro'ing I have not recorded - but they seem to be around
have to go

what a nice surprise, a pair of buzzards!
thank you for the reports!
let's hope they will stay if the eagles will not come.

Nature is often cruel and ruthless, but always with a purpose (hard to see sometimes though...).
But no way near the cruelty of humans..!
