i saw that red spot in the morning and thought also: could it be blood? those yeloow marks on the right must be left by 'dirty' seals.venegor wrote: In the left part of a photo a red stain on snow. I think, that it is blood. Probably the seal has been wounded

What interesting seal & eagle activity here on the beach while I slept. Ame, Fireblade, Fleur, Alice, Venegor, thank you all for good work on documenting the beach activities.
Those eagles in Fireblade's videos were trying to catch that crow or a duck for dinner! And there was such a beautiful bronze-pink light in those video movies, too. The seals are always extremely curious in what the eagles are doing. They look comical craning their necks & heads up out of the water to see the eagles on the beach in Ame's movie.

Saw this all too. In fullscreen I could see that the prey had dark/black feathers. Some flew arround
