13:22 Karl II returned, loud singing.

13:26 He is still calling. Is Kaia in the near? :puzzled:
Karl II always looks to the right side.

13:27 Longing for Kaia ...

When Kaia don't want to mate, she goes on the curved branch.

14:18 Since a while she's there. Karl II tried also to get her from the branch, but hadn't success.

Hello :hi:
Thank you so much for the beautiful photos!

In my opinion, this is exactly how Kaia behaved last year:

Michi

absolutely right  - it seems the curved branch is the 'don't touch me' place 8-)

at your great picture of 14.30 i'm wondering about what Karl II might have thought, when he was looking at Kaia that way
maybe he was asking himself "will she be ready for breeding this year or still not yet ??"
(but this is only speculation, i know  )

Hopefully she wont leave Karl alone with the possible eggs like last year!

Balistar  I'm also always asking myself what Karl II might think about his spouse. Probably he feels a kind of disappointment or frustration when Kaia refuses to mate so often.
I really hope he (and we) will not have the same problem with the eggs like last year. And I don't like it, when Kaia is away for so long, - like today. It reminds me of last year.

Swenja :hi: Thanks a lot for the video! :2thumbsup:
It's heartbreaking, how long and in which way Karl II calls for Kaia.

Приветствую всех жителей этого форума! .

Greetings to all residents of this forum! I have been observing bird nests since 2018, but only registered on the forum yesterday. Apparently, this is how the successful return of Karl and the imminent appearance of Kaia in the nest influenced me
I have no doubt that she is our little princess last year))
tell me, according to the rules of the forum, in which language is it better to write? I use a translator to read messages from other users. on this I can not understand each participant writes in his own language or all write in one.

Welcome to the forum, MaryRus !

As this is international forum, then only language is English as good or bad it is. All is well.
