Hello Michi :hi:

Thank you so much for your kind words!

I have to praise and thank Swenja  who is always present with an accurate timestamp and great photos.
And Anne7, Tatiana60

My contribution is small and not so regular.
I'm also interested in what happens when the chicks show up. There are so many bad things in the nests this year ...
I try to avoid thinking about what might happen.
Just hope as always for the best!

Swenja! :hi:
I watched your video (many thanks!), absolutely amazing what was going on there...
 Kaia was very scared.
Thanks to heaven, she didn't fly away!

Thank you for the reports and wonderful photos

Kaia stayed seated. She didn't defend and she didn't fly away.
I suppose it wasn't much of a threat. It was probably just uncomfortable because it was sitting in the tree above her.

It is nice when it is so quiet at the nest and no major, serious disturbances occur.

21:05 Karl II rolls the eggs and loosens the nest floor. Then he incubates again.

Hello Heloise

Karl II sits long before Kaia takes over from him. He waits all morning and Kaia comes when it is almost noon.

Yes! Karl II has to be patient... and he is, although in the meantime he seems to be bored.
