... Also, exactly at 12.50.59-12.51.00 Janika rolls the egg and there is a big crack? It could be a piece of moss though..
I can't take high quality pictures myself, only give the experts here some data

:hi: madlaa,
i also saw the big crack and tried to get some pictures while she was rolling the egg, unfortunately it's quite dark at this place currently...., but it is a big crack, it moved together with the rolling.
i don't know how it will come out on the pictures..., the quality is not as i would like it to be, sorry

JAN
09.28 - aerating
9.58 - moss rearranging and feeding - little far, but the second is on better place, only one hatchling ate

10.39 - defecating, regurgitating, not much - feeding, probably only one ate (strong sunshine), long preening and Jan ate back the remains

10.47 change - JANIKA in, Jan out immediately

11.01 - regurgitating, much little things and feeding for one (?) hatchling, defecating and some rearranging, aerating (11.08.28 she settled down)
11.18. - short aerating, rearranging the moss
11.44 - feeding, Janika regurgitated much food, both ate - one more seems to me
11.58 - short aerating, egg rolling (egg talk)

12.20 - short aerating (egg talk)
12.51 - again aerating, very short

13.02 - again
13.09 - the next, aerating, rearranging, defecating, preening (egg talk) - 13.20 settled down
13.47 - defecating and feeding - both ate good, aerating (egg talk)
Liz01 wrote: June 14th, 2021, 2:06 pm13:48 feeding by Mom- Zoom video ...14:07 She stands up and is poking in the nest bowl
14.06 - short aerating
14.15 - defecating, aerating, (egg talk)
14.44 - very short aerating
15.13 - failed feeding, Janika regurgitated nothing - observed the two hatchling and at 15.16 settled down
15.33 - preening, some rearranging + shirt aerating (15.37 settled down)

15.38.46 change - Janika out, JAN in

15.39 change - JAN in, Janika out
Hellem wrote: June 14th, 2021, 3:56 pm 15:54 Feeding :D, 16:22 Feeding, 17:52 Feeding, 19:56 Feeding
thanx Hellem

15.53 - Jan regurgitated something, feeding, but it seems to me not on the right place - hatchlings probably ate only few pieces if (egg talk), aerating, rearranging the moss

16.00 - position change (egg talk)
16.22 - defecating, short preening and feeding, not to see behind the moss barrier (egg talk), the younger one was probably turned in the opposite direction
16.44 - defecating, short aerating

17.06 - short aerating
17.30 - defecating, short aerating
17.52 - preening, feeding - two pile little things, both ate, the elderly ate with more interest and more effort, aerating (egg talk)

18.47 - aerating (defecating)

19.18 - aerating, rearranging
19.56 - aerating, Jan regurgitated something, feeding - they both ate only few pieces, the bigger more (egg talk)

20.11 - aerating, eggs rolling (I saw on one egg little hole)
20.47 - aerating, eggs rolling

21.40 - aerating, defecating (egg talk)
21.57 - aerating

22.19 - the next (short)

23.43 - Jan preens herself
23.56 - short aerating (egg talk) - lightening in the distance

00.16 - aerating and Jan covered the view with moss

I'm really happy for Janika and Jan, hope for a successful season for them. That nest is so beautiful with this amazing background and the birds song concert.
