Hello, Solo!
It seems to me that you are a little alone here, because everyone is watching Karl's life and his encounters with his girlfriend (I hope she is Kaia).
Many thanks for the wonderful photos and reviews!
Please keep up the good work

Very strange voices are heard from this nest!
Radio, human voices and frog croaking
The time is 22.32. Someone is snoring. Or creeping frogs? And the radio plays in the background

Heloise,
you're welcome - thank you for your kind words
yes, no one seems to be actively interested here (today also Biker has Pause )
probably later it changes with arrival his female, eggs and chicks
btw. today it was an exception, I can't devote so much time to this nest (documentating)

The Black Stork nest is situated in Jõgeva County in Estonia. We have known this breeding territory since the late 1990s, when black storks successfully nested here for many years. After 2004, the nest site remained empty. The male bird Tooni, who nested here at the time, moved to the adjacent territory. The nest where Toon moved, was the first Estonian black stork nest camera in 2005-2010. Black storks came back to the nest seen currently in the camera only a year or two ago. It is an old artificial nest. We built a new platform in the early spring of 2021. Considering the critical situation of the black stork in Estonia, itis a small miracle that the storks came back to here.

I like also the other black storks cam (2x PL, CZ - RS) - so I will learn more about the general and specific behavior of these beautiful birds
documentation takes a lot of time if one is alone

our male stork is early bird :-) he works already after 5h
today continued with the nest preparation - out and in with branches, straw, .... selfpreening, resting and testing the new nest bowl
it is very difficult to me read the timestamp
someone (unwanted?) is nearby? this time he whistled enough long time
