I have some very happy news - Karl and Kati's nest has been repaired and the camera is installed. It is all the same as last year so when it is light in the morning, we can admire the repair job.

Thank you, Urmas and colleague Ain Nurmla who did this.

Migration map shows that Karl is in Turkey now.
Perhaps it is time to open the 2018 forum now?

:loveshower: thank you soooo much, Urmas and Ain. Now we can look forward to a new breeding season.

Poor Karl did some additional kilometres, but now he is heading straight homeward :headroll: And the weather MUST get better now.

This is wonderful news!
Thank you very much, Urmas and Ain!
Repairing this specific nest must have been a difficult task.

And many thanks to Urmas and Ain for repairing the nest. That's great. As Anne wrote, it was certainly a difficult work. You have done a great work

Lea :hi: , -10 degree sounds a bit bad.

the curved branch is in the foreground, right corner below  I'm right Urmas?
So it's a completely new nest.

Urmas and Ain have done the branches and everything else placed from the old nest into the new one. That will help, to accept the new nest.
