about flight and feathers in general, should it also belong/fit the new info collection thread?

If you, or any member find more such useful links, please post them straight to that topic. You will find that there are an awful lot of academic posts there. Please don't let that put you off posting. All will be sorted into order later. Much more important is to have your contribution there.

He loves baby chic, whose name Aru.
The South wind blows the wings.
Fly away Aru!
Other countries r waiting you.
You're strong storklet, r you?
Sister flying to the South. It sparkles with feathers.
It's time for you to fly my friend.
Have a nice weather!

The photos gladdened me. The wound looks pinkish on the edges. That is excellent!
That means that it is shrinking and healing.

Hi Bibibu!
Welcome to the forum!
I agree with you!
Doesn't it look as if feathers are starting to poke out of the quills?
That means that everything is progressing in the right direction. Yay!

Dear All.
I would like to thank everyone very much for another day full of interesting posts, beautiful photos and especially for the hopeful messages.
I regularly come to see what is posted here, and I really enjoy it, but I am currently a bit too busy working on the "known facts" to have time to participate.
Today our little Aru is 90 days old.
He fledged on July 23, 22 days ago.
I'm very glad that he's still at home, recovering, and that our fabulous Karl II continuous feeding him.

I am very glad that you are collecting “known facts”, they are important in order to better understand our subjects! Hopefully, I will get a chance to add some more soon!
21:12 Aru went to bed on his favorite perch.
He has also mastered the art of sleeping on one leg.
Good night everyone!

Today, thanks to Urmas, the observers calmed down a bit. And thanks to the publications, many are set to study new materials.
My today's observation of the wound: it seemed to me more wet at 15.31.44 after the flight than in the morning:
here is the wing with the wound in motion: https://ok.ru/video/1283151104638
