Merci, Hélène, but not for this one. Bubo has made it and I just looked it up and added it here! We were a bit crazy at that nest in that year, one of mine was thisHélène wrote:Bravo for your picture, Félis Silvestris!

Great to see Koit again, thank you for pictures and video!
Very interesting to see that it doesn´t have to be a spruce twig, it can also be from leaf trees, aspen?
13:55 - Wow, a jet plane just passed, very loudly..
Felis, I remember Tormi´s "hobbies"..and you (and Bubo) were so lucky to get them on pictures..

Koit and Eha the 2013 season was great.
I must say that Koit surprised me. Compared to the 2009 season, he behaved very differently. (In 2012, I watched pretty rarely, so last year, I do not say anything about.)
2009 when KOIT was 10 seconds in front of the camera, it was a very long time.
This year, Koit was in the nest for several hours, with Kai. Koit took care of Kai. He was on June 28, with Kai in the nest at night (I know that many people do not believe me, but I'm 100% sure that it was Koit). I read forum that Koit even tried to feed Kai.
I wonder if the difference in behavior is related only to hunting lands, and hunting catch.
Or is it because Koit is older and wiser now than in 2009.
Raisin was a picture of Bea. To see KAI flying around, and with a catch - this is an excellent. The best picture of the history of LSE cameras.

I love the little creepers. Ours here are called Brown Creepers and it is always a good day when I see one.

i think it is also possible that the Koit in 2009 was quite another bird than the Koit this summer. as none of these parent birds have rings it not possible to identify them absolutely certainly i think. or is it?aita wrote:... I have joined the forum only in 2011, so I have not seen the season with Koit and Eha raising Spot, only read. But seeing that "Eha" is not "Eha" from 2009, it may be that Koit also changed at some point of history. They have no rings and from looks only it is difficult to say.

I regret, dianeroone, it is not easy to see all these little birds live in the wild, they are rather secretive. Well, at least with these great Estonian cameras we can see some of them from time to time.

What a beautiful photo, lianaliesma! It perfectly demonstrates how tiny bird the Goldcrest is. Thank you!

Is anyone able to identify who is the owner of that voice? Maybe Vainamoinen can do it? I can not.
I was hoping that the bird will appear in the camera for a while, ... but the connection was broken suddenly. Today, the camera was mostly off, the image returned from time to time, but only for 1-3 minutes.

OMG, it's bad luck! It's funny, but today, I just thought to myself that it would be nice to see the Black Woodpecker in the camera! What a pity that the connection broke up, it is possible that it would be a great opportunity to see it.vainamoinen wrote:Black Woodpecker in flight.
Vainamoinen, thanks a lot for your identification and the reply.
Only once I've met the Black Woodpecker in the woods, I tried to take a picture, but the weather was very cloudy and rainy, and what's worse, the distance quite large. As a result, my photo is of a very bad quality and I treat it more as a document.
