Huge headless fish brought by Aila to her daughter. She is still there. :loveshower:
I went back during the day, Louis brought some huge fishes too for his lovely youngsters.

Later in the evening: Both siblings have their own fishes, they have eaten very much today...

Pic from now:  They were no more able to eat the completely fishes, overfilled kiddos.

The Loch of the Lowes webcam is working. The osprey (LM12) is back from holiday. He arrived a few days ago.
Great birds sound this evening, all are busy finding a mate I guess. One sound in particular is very strange.

Around 18:15 local time (pity there is no time stamp).

Both birds have arrived now.
Today there was a storm that made a mess of the nest. The quality of the images is not great, the streaming was poor. Must be the wind.

LM12 and NC0's new partnership is beginning to exhibit some normal paired behaviour. There was no fighting over this fish that was brought to the nest this afternoon

SWINWK wrote: It's not looking good that there will be a nest to view for Loch of the Lowes this year on cam at least. The ospreys have endured 2 incidents of human interference near their nest within the last 2-3 weeks or so. The 1st was the kayaker and the 2nd was last weekend when a man and his children could be heard talking and the man suppressed a sneeze or cough. Both incidents either caused 1 or both osprey to fly from the nest. Here is an update:

So sad to hear about those dammned noises & sneezings by tourists...but there were some more disturbances by an unringed female intruder which was chased by NC0 >> scyllas video:

I guess there is still a little chance for the current breeding pair to return or
another osprey pair might overtake this nest in the following days...

I don't think this can be the female osprey we've already seen,
because it couldn't possibly be confused with NC0. I can't even say for sure if it's male or female, tho it looks more female in size. Somebody will now tell me it's 100% Laddie. But there's no Spanish dancer.

Loch of the Lowes, Scotland: NC0 was on the nest.
Sandra: Really good to see NC0 defending the nest and area - she seems to be maturing - if Laddie and NC0 are busy guarding their area they really can't settle/relax
