The GHO returned to attack Phoebe!

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

 This nest stays not under a good star. I feel so sorry for the new female there, what will be when the chicks are hatched! The same tragedy year by year.

Hm, Harriet is most feeding herself much from the fishes, she offers not intensive. Or is the chick not really hungry, it eats much to less.
From what I observed Harriet is in molt. Maybe that is also a reason that the things are different that season there.

I know, Birdfriend. It is horrible what is happening there. The poor female was attacked and didn't come back for almost 36 hours. Her name is now Phoebe. The Explore people named her, I think. She is ok, though. Definitely not injured like Rachel was.

The youtube moderators insist that the eggs can hatch up until the 50th day and have been banning people from the youtube chat for disagreeing. The whole situation wreaks at this point. I wish the Crows would come and take the eggs when the parents are both off the nest but Phoebe insists on incubating when she is there and so will Steve if Phoebe isn't there during the day. Steve comes around 4am or even earlier. I just hope it's not much longer before Steve and Phoebe give up on those eggs and move on. Meanwhile, the GHO patrols the area for food. :banghead:

Things are finally better, here. The chick seemed to have some sort of eye inflammation and maybe didn't feel too good. But now it is doing much better, growing like a weed, biting Harriet like chicks will do and has a name - Lucky. Probably that name because it's egg was probably the one that Swoop kicked out and Harriet pulled back into the nest when he left. The other egg did not hatch.

I don't have too many recent videos. It's difficult when I have 2-3 different forums that I post the videos and pix in on Facebook, then start answering people's questions, there, plus process photos and do artwork.

Swoop delivers a catfish. Harriet starts feeding immediately. Lucky is really eager to eat. Harriets eats a lot herself as well:
