Ferenz,

the chicks were ringed today around 14 o'clock. The ringer was the intruder for less than half an hour, all went well and now Miila is already at home.
I don't know whether they already consumed the smaller of the two big pikes that Vesa, the ringer, left on the nest - or did Penna perhaps fetch it for himself, anyhow it is gone by now ...

The chicks of Paltamo's camera nest were ringed on July 19, 2020. Both chicks seem to be ladies. Strategic data: MJS age (hatching) 34 days, hand wing 287 mm, weight 1450 g. MJT age 32 days, hand wing 272 mm, weight 1630 g.
Followers can suggest girl names beginning with S and T, from which work names for chicks are chosen.
