Re: Osprey Nests in Europe
Many thanks to ALL OF YOU
Each one your post means great joy for me
Each one time I'm so happy seeing known birds returning home
I started to keep my fingers crossed for each one nest and their eggs

Oh Rita, thanks for the push!
There is a change.
I've now wound more thoroughly and yes ...
See the screenshot from this morning.
Both Ospreys wear rings!
This means that the pretty ringless female is no longer present.
I myself also missed the arrival of the resident female. But I recognize a 2. The resident female carries FJ2.
Thus, the resident couple seem to have successfully survived the migration and are ready for a new season together.

The reunited couple has not yet found peace. There always seems to be new prospects or ospreys passing through. This morning
09:11:36 But first the male brings fish, then both of them are nervous. A third osprey heads for the nest.
I don't know if he's interested in the male's nest or in the fish.
It is also almost impossible to read the rings. I assume it's the resident couple.
All the fuss lasts until 09:25.
Like protective shields.

This place remains a meeting place for many.
While the Ospreys are above, the Kestrels mate below. Crows and ravens are apparently tolerated. At least not massively distributed.
Interesting there.

Thank you Polly!
When I opened the stream I saw immediately, that we have now a ringed female. I had no time before so I also couldn't watch when she arrived and if it was a battle between the two females or not.
I guess she is asking for fish a long time. Ah, finally she get it.

Birdfriend , possibly the third Osprey that morning was the unsinged female.

Polly: Do you really mean 'unsinged'?? *) I guess it should read 'unringed'.
As I have never observed this nest before, and in the official introduction on YouTube there isn't much information either
can someone tell me who is on the nest now? The resident couple and a foreign female? And the ringed bird is a female, I guess.
*) to singe means 'sengen, versengen, ankokeln'

Rita, GT incorporated my typo.
Yes, the resident couple wear rings. Male ZE4, female FJ2. The male initially mated with a strange female without a ring. Later the resident female FJ2 came back and drove away the other female.
I don't know which Osprey bothered the couple yesterday. It could still be the strange female or other Ospreys in transit.

BalBucam, France: That's weird and unbelievable > a new 13:29 minutes video file starting at 8:17 AM shows that nest bowl has changed: no eggs, less straw at the bottom, someone must have kicked them out, Reda 04 returned at 8:17 AM

BalBucam, France-There is a change:
Sylva might have been chased by female 02. This young female is back and did some nestorating works, bringing in hay and arrangig sticks...
Reda 04 delivered a fish, was manteling & trying to mate...
