:hi:

am i right here to ask for ?

i have problems to find the youtube-livestreams for the nests in Estonia (Black Storks, Ospreys...).

When i open "Urmas Lett" in Youtube i only find "Merikotkas", but no further links to other Estonian nests.

The Latvian nests (and youtube-livestreams) are to find easily.

Please, can someone help me ?
What keywords are needed ?

Hi balistar,

the explanation is rather easy ---- at the moment there are no other than Merikotkas cam streaming on youtube, respectively at Urmas Letts´ channel

Currently you can watch other cams "only" via the pontu.ee links:
http://pontu.eenet.ee/

Osprey cams are not even online at all .... we are waiting for them. Other cams like Black Stork and Greater spotted Eagle may stream on youtube when we are a bit further in the season, at the moment birds are not even at home in Estonia.

Thank you very much, Bea.

Ah, now i understand
So at the moment it is only the Latvian Osprey nest what is already streaming on youtube, although the "owners" have not arrived yet.

Yes, i know the birds are not all yet returned in the nests, i follow the birdmap, and i hope and wish all of them to come home safe and sound.

All the Latvian cams are provided and maintained by Latvijas dabas fonds and they stream their cams for the public on youtube only, their system is a bit different than here with Estonian Looduskalender cams.

Btw: the first osprey was already sighted at the Latvian nest!

Thanks again, Bea, for the good information.

Yes, i've read about the visit of an osprey at the Latvian nest. People are not quite sure who it is. It's exciting to wait for the birds to return.

The Urmas channel i now have subscribed for not to miss when the links appear.

Hello,
I've been watching live cams at http://pontu.eenet.ee/ for a few months and that was amazing!
However, the streaming doesn't seem to work anymore, all I can see are just screenshots. The issue appeared once 3 more cams have been added. Is there any chance to address this please?
Apologies if I post my question in the wrong section, I am a newbie.
Thank you!

At night when all other cams are down, owl's nest streamlines fine.
Just a heads up.

Yet another heads up a week later:
none of the cams streamlines at PNW anymore. 16 cams is way too much for the bandwidth I guess.

:hi:

We ask ourselves that too.
Unfortunately no info so far.

I think you won't get any first hand info here either.

I recommend you to visit the Latvian neighbor forum
If there is information about the camera, it is more likely there than here.

Most of Latvian cameras are switched off out of season. Which cameras will be available in spring will not be decided until next year.

YouTube has fallen into a change frenzy. :slap:
Not everything that is new is also good! Actually, these are all superfluous things!
Now I can't see my own videos anymore. I see the live stream videos and also the videos of other members. My videos no longer load. Does anyone else have the same problem?

example- Now I can no longer check the videos if there are errors..

strange... i'm not using these things at all. :puzzled:

the clip-tool i don't have on my YT-tab where the J-E channel is. that is probably because that's not open on full-screen. i have other stuff on the side so the Firefox window is narrower.
in Firefox i have one tab where my YT-channel is open and where i upload my videos. that has been working normally, with no changes. the playlist of the day is open on another tab. that has worked normally, too.
