Actually I don't know. I also don't know where the young ones go, this was my first season with them. But I keep my fingers crossed, that you will see them tomorrow again! Maybe so close that you can get a few better photos?

But the goldfinch is also beautiful! Have not seen one here.
:peek:
I learned,
that NORI, ELO and UNO will come "home" maybe in three years to raise their own families ^^
I suppose NORI (S7) and ELO (S9) are females and UNO (S8) is a male ^^

Who knows where on their first years they will fly around? Not all young birds do what people expect them to do!

Wow, Manu. I was just about to ask what was that beautiful bird. But Lussi05 said it already: European Goldfinch. Stunning.
And an osprey! I can´t believe they could be coming back, at least not to the Northern Europe yet. It´s still a long winter ahead here...

The last few day's I was in contact with different persons ( Urmas/NABU/Vogelwarte Sempach/CH and others). A few persons don't answering till yet. It seems it was really a bright/light coloured buzzard .
It's a bit embarrassing I meant it was an osprey, but otherwise it's good it wasn't. Because the low temperatures in this area.
Now I'm looking forward and hope I will see this birds (We saw that were 2 birds same colour/size) once again in this area.

Today I was testing my new cam. Unfortunately it was not really nice weather (cold and cloudy) but I find some nice object to take the first steps to learn how to operate with this cam.

Hi all! Hello macdoum! Thank you. I am every day with you. The housemanagment cutted all the trees und bushes in front of my window. = no pictures. But I touched the nest tree of my eagle pair in december. They are in that area and I hope for a breeding. And I am waiting for the eagles in the Linda/Sulev nest. Breeding will start in march I hope.macdoum wrote:Has anyone seen Fireblade recently ?

Yes, it´s my birdfeeder
A colleague of my husband de-installed his observation camera and DH could get it
It has a wide angle lense and so it is not so good for snapshots, but I can watch live a lot of the feeding places the birdies prefer .... the appletree and the evergreen Thuja and the ground
And Dear Husband and Dear Son had a lot of fun installing it
