The hedgehog is really cute .
Lussi: This year everything is really late. We have here so much rain and also colder temperatures than years before. I'm curious how summer will be .

Will there be summer? I have my doubts in the meantime!

So far this spring the weather projections have been so badly wrong, I have given up paying any attention.

We got "summer" a fortnight ago, with +32, like in July. Then the weather changed, the temperature decreased to +14 and terrible rains and storms started. Now rains stopped, the weather is nice but paths in the forest changed into brooks and ponds, frogs and mosquitos are anywhere. That is our "Venice" as it was promised.

We have some nice summer days here in Denmark in these days. 20-23 degrees and sunny. But tomorrow it will be colder and rainy again.
Yesterday I went for a little walk in the forest. The grass in the meadow is very long now and the roe dears are almost invisible ;)
I looks so funny when only their heads are visible
When I came home our hedgehog was eating catfood on the stairs :)

Actually we are not feeding especially for the hedgehog. One of my cats is an outdoor cat, and he is fed out on the stairs. But we (and the cats) don't mind the hedgehog sharing Last summer there was two of them almost every evening.
Last autumn we did feed the hedgehog, because it was very thin for winter hibernation.

It is terrible what happens to the people, but many, many wild animals died too.
Somewhere in East Germany 800 dairy cows were enclosed by the water for several days and couldn’t be milked, they had unimaginable pains.
Sadly, there is little hope that people will be wiser in future and allow the rivers to have flood zones and polder areas.
So, the next flood is inevitable.

Nice flower pictures from both of you :)
Terrible with the flood. Hope it gets better soon and no more lose their life or their home. Both people and animals.
