I had two very nice visitors yesterday morning.
Throughout the summer a roe deer mother with her twins, born this spring, has stayed in the area. Everyone has observed them, but me. I had almost given up the hope to see them, but finally, yesterday they showed up, and I managed to get them on tape. I didn't see their mother, but she was hopefully nearby. I was on the second floor, filming through the window, and they were ca 50 meters away.

Oh yes they are!!
I hope they, and their mother, survive the hunting season that starts soon
(maybe they are too young...)

Spatz: The gravedigger is a pretty one.
Lussi: It's so wonderful and so special to see so nice twins through your window. Now I'm a bit envious. I have to drive 1 minute with my bicycle to the den of the foxes
. You was veeeeery patient and now you were a lucky one to see them
and made such a nice record of them
.

They are cute little monsters.
It seems the same species can look very different.

Montseny Brook Newt
The pictures are Arkive look very different, and they do not yet have much written material
And now I see I think this one only lives in Catalonia

good morning.
I would say that is a triton, salamanders are black and yellow with very bright.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fire_salamander
the triton the Montseny is a highly endangered species and is only found in the Montseny massif, mountain which lies between the cities of barcelona and girona

I have found it, there are mountain newts (deutsch Bergmolche)

I don`t think its mountain newts (Bergmolche), they look different and all of them have dots. See here for description:
http://www.froschnetz.ch/arten/bergmolch.htm
I believe they are lizards, some of them have this striped back.

In Spatz' second picture you can see spots/markings that are a bit similar to those in the upper photo
http://www.froschnetz.ch/arten/bergmolch.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpine_newt
the page in German has more photos than in English
I do think it is newt because of the shape of the head, but the exact species is very difficult because they vary so much depending on water phase or land phase.
