Great pictures Liz01, it seems you had a great time on your trip!

After loooong time I saw a squirrel, and it was so kind to keep still for some moments, so that I could take a pic

Liz01, great pictures from your trip.
Bea, cute squirrel, s/he posed for you:)

Tomorrow (5. January) it's the first full moon in 2015. I took this picture with my smart phone, on my way home from work, on friday afternoon. It's from the Tyrifjord. The swans was closer than it seems on the picture

Lussi the December 23 image is so beautiful :headroll: . The colors are fascinating. I would like to see to Norway, Sweden and Finland. Nature is uniquely beautiful. Your pictures too.
Berlin is beautiful, very green and has a great history. I'm not a real Berliner. I was born in Nuremberg and moved at age 18 to Berlin.

Airras, it is as if the sky over Girona burns. It looks so beautiful. I love Spain!
Bea you have the squirrel gets good. I think your camera is very good. The picture is very rich in detail

I had a very nice time at the bay. Unfortunately not seen WTE. They are at the end of Darß, in deep National Park Barhöft and Hiddensee. Since collect in the winter waterbirds, ducks, geese ... good food for the eagles. It should be up to 150 WTE's there. But only in winter.
I'll be back in September, when the cranes rest on the Darß. Then the weather is good enough to look for eagles. I was too much snow, even though it was very nice.

every day is a Hawfinch me to feed. He loves hazelnuts, walnuts and sunflower seeds

The birds on my balcony are very difficult to photograph. They see me and then quickly away. So I let them eat and do not disturb them.

Liz01 - why "unfortunately"? I find it amazing to see all those birds!

Felis :hi:

there with me Crested Tit, Treecreeper, Robin, greenfinch, chaffinch, great spotted woodpecker, jays, blackbirds, nuthatches ..
Unfortunately, that means that I can not take pictures because they disappear very quickly once they see the camera.

I live in a wooded area. I also see deer and squirrels under my balcony. Squirrel on my balcony, and mice

Siskins come to me. They are not there yet. But when they come, dannn there are always 30 -50 animals. My neighbors do not like. They also do not like starlings. Is their anything too loud. Young jays are also too noisy -Young Starlings are extremely noisy:mrgreen:

yesterday morning February 2nd at about 7:25 local time in Punxsutawney Pennsylvania the groundhog Phil was dragged out of his burrow in front of a cheering crowd to see if he could see his shadow. and so he did, tells the news report, so there's 6 more weeks of winter left. -poor Phil, he looked rather frightened.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/cap ... of-winter/

here in the North at 7:25 the sun hasn't even risen so seeing any shadows cast by natural sunlight isn't possible. also later in the day the sky was covered with clouds all day here. the same applies probably also at the seal island, too, as the camera there slept yesterday and didn't see its shadow.
in the siga feeding place it was also cloudy all day so creature saw its shadow there either.
viewtopic.php?p=358738#p358738
so here we may probably expect spring earlier than in 6 weeks. or maybe not... :whistling:
