Hello everyone from Kaluga from an amateur ortitlog, as they called me in one TV interview. Actually I am an engineer and I just love nature. I was lucky that a family of storks settled near my house 10 years ago. The nest was made by a friend of mine who has already made dozens of nests for storks.
All the time I dreamed of watching them from above and only after retirement was I able to realize this dream. For the second year I have seen everything that happens in the nest at a glance.
This year we managed to make a round-the-clock high-quality broadcast on YouTube. The channel is called "Stork's Nest Online 40ru".
We have a PTZ camera with 4x zoom and this allows us to convey all the details of what is happening.
I did not expect much interest because there are a lot of such cameras in European countries.
But, as it turned out, people want not only to watch, but also to chat in their native language.
I invite everyone who is interested in the life of a stork to visit the channel. Now our couple is waiting for the first egg in 3-4 days. And there is a lot of interesting wildlife ahead.

Rabbit seems unaware that Johanka's beak is no fun at all. She could seriously injure the rabbit.

Czech Republic (Mladé Buky)

Here is a beautiful nest but also very sad. On Saturday the 4 little ones lost their mom. Now the father takes care of the 4 little ones alone.
Of course, he cannot do it alone. Good people from this place (Mladé Buky) take care of the food 3 times a day (for the little ones and the father).
Feeding at noon today
first fresh hay and then small fish for the little ones ... it is distributed fairly but every time we make sure that the smallest gets enough

previous year (2020, May 4) there perished the female too :-( - a gust of wind threw her on the adjacent roof, where she perished
two eggs were taken to the rescue station, one survived and was adopted in one nest, where, unfortunately, they did not receive him - did not survive
all steps they consult with the ornithologist and the nearby rescue station
the nest on the google maps https://goo.gl/maps/p7jCMBSZT6odN1B5A
photo by our Hana - she lives not very far from this village (the nest was first on the chimney, which they still used, so they built this pillar for them)
