They may stay in the forest. I saw Libor carrying the new stork but Honzik and Marushka didn't return after that.

- no news yet, but it seems to me very bad - I hope the new stork is alive

- something like this happened years ago (30 Mar 2016) - the male Honzík killed the other stork: attention-be very, very carefully!!! https://youtu.be/EKfulqhIMfI by Jiřina H.), but in that time they had eggs

Mr. Libor wrote yesterday in the evening "we have taken the new stork, he is all right, he will stay in the aviary"

Maruška is always the first to defend the nest, Honzík only later, but more aggressive. But why in this time :puzzled: (maybe they both are old and Maruška is sick/the leg - so maybe both are more sensitive)

EDIT: the yesterday attack https://www.facebook.com/10000674932692 ... 292874324/ - not nice view!

Good Morning!

Thanks Biker :hi:

It's so nice to see the family reunion of the couple with their "adopted" birds :D

What are the 2 white-grey babies? they are growing fast.

RS MAKOV

about the new white stork info in Guest book RS Makov - answer by Mr. Libor:
We brought a female stork with a permanently damaged wing from another station, and if possible it will stay in the station

(beforethe attack - 31.08.2019)

Btw. one white stork lived for a while without problems with black storks in the big aviary (net over and the little pond)

Now the new stork is in the nest near aviaries(she can be seen on your photo from yesterday). But it is very strange that Honzik attacked a female stork.

Stowarzyszenie Szansa dla Bociana - Kamil Piwowarczyk

In the film I present young storks, which were raised by us. Young storks have been thrown out or fell out of their nests.
Storks were placed on artificial nests so that they would not get used to humans. We climbed them up the ladder to be fed there so that they flew wild.

It turns out that for Honzik it makes no difference: he attacked even a female! :vangry: The reaction of H&M on adult storks is always the same: "Oh, it's you? Hi! Go away!"

yes - "Ośrodek rehabilitacji Bocianów położony jest we wsi Kozubszczyzna w Gminie Konopnica, 5 km od granic Lublina." (The Storks Rehabilitation Center is located in the village of Kozubszczyzna in the Konopnica commune, 5 km from the borders of Lublin)
