17.Hunting, fishing and animal husbandry at The Farm beneath the Sand, Western Greenland.
An archaeozoological analysis of a Norse farm in the Western Settlement
Inge Bødker Enghoff, 2003
"A large and generally well preserved sample of animal bones was excavated at “The Farm Beneath The Sand” (Gården under Sandet, GUS) in the Norse Western Settlement in Greenland. The sample represents the entire period of occupation, from ca. AD 1000-1400 and could be divided into three time phases, allowing analysis of changes in the economy of the farm. A total of 8,250 bone fragments, from at least 36 species of fish, birds and mammals, were identified."
White-tailed Eagles mentioned.

18.Corax 19, Sonderheft 1: "Seeadler in Mitteleuropa"
A collection of articles on White-tailed Eagles in Germany, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic before 2001
108 pages, many pictures. In German, with English summaries

36.Zero Prevalence of Influenza A Virus in Two Raptor Species by Standard Screening
“If highly pathogenic avian influenza strikes rare birds of prey, this may have crucial impact on the predator species itself, but also on the food web in which it interacts. Here we present the first large-scale screening of raptors that regularly consume birds belonging to the natural reservoir of influenza A viruses. Influenza A virus prevalence was studied in two rare raptors, the white-tailed sea eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla) and the peregrine falcon (Falco peregrinus). (…) Neither high- nor low-pathogenic influenza infections were found in our sample, but this does not rule out that the former may have major impact on rare raptors and their food webs.”
Gunnar Gunnarsson, Elsa Jourdain, Jonas Waldenström, Björn Helander, Peter Lindberg, Johan Elmberg, Neus Latorre-Margalef, and Björn Olsen
Vector-Borne and Zoonotic Diseases. May 2010, 10(4): 387-390
