Hello everybody! :hi:

Since a few days I sometimes visit this webcam.

At 11:03 someone had covered the camera for 4 minutes. Does somebody come every now and then to do a little thing and covers the camera for that time?

11:03 / 11:07

Ah, so that's the way it is! :D

I just read the article from French TV that Felis silverstris linked on the first page.
The food is probably hidden secretly, so we can't tell the bears where to look for it!

Hey everyone,

We are really sorry for the almost daily link exchange.
The last link/live was about 10 hours behind, so we had to update the link.
Not sure if it's the problem of youtube or not. We were experiencing some electrical issues, so we had to go offline and every time we came back online, there seemed to be a time-lag of 6-10 hours. Not sure if it grew by day or not.

True, every now and then, it is one of our guys who is covering the cam. I think it's better than going offline for 5 secs if it doesn't create any time-lag issues. Fingers crossed. We do put some bait in small portions to keep the animals interested in coming there every now and then. Hopefully, knowing it doesn't ruin the experience. The area has a really high bear population density, so the bears you see right now, might be gone in 2 weeks, they come and go and won't become dependent of the food.

As you know, the camera is set up next to a Brown Bear and Wildlife watching hide and we opened our hides for visitors last week (29th April to be exact). Right now only Estonians can come due to the current situation. One person/family/close group in 1 hide so a very private experience :)

Hopefully the borders will open soon and everyone can come to visit!

The worst seems to be over gradually, let's hope that the restrictions can be ended soon and that many things will be possible again... :2thumbsup:

23.38 - some small animal was looking around, it is too dark to say, though the moonlight makes the light rather amazing.

The cam has been zoomed in, no timestamp, tends to freeze a bit.

22:18 (cam time) A bear, 22:19 the second one, the first bear ran to the right
22:20 The third bear came from the left
22:21 Two bears :D
22:22 They walked to the right
22:23 One bear came back from the right, 22:35 walked to the left
22:39 One bear came back from the right

The cam clock is wrong, it's 1 hour behind (shows winter time)
