I think there is some food closer -- maybe grain, but I suspect there is carrion under the cover.

No cam for me this evening. White with "too many retries . . ."

I have missed a few days at the cams & forums. My husband had a frightening health episode on the morning of 11 October that resulted in being hopitalized for 2 days & nights. He was released yesterday evening. I posted about it in the Social Corner forum, so it won't clutter up this topic, if anyone wants details about it. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=24&p=116669#p116669

That is a good photo od the RD, Jopie! It looks very satisfied with itself that it chased away the raven. :D

Husband is doing a little better, still has to be very careful when walking with his walker contraption. He is impatient that he cannot do everything he wants to do immediately but rather has to go slow.

Cam back on; "carrion" is gone and is that a pile of grain just before the long stem?

It DOES attracts the birds and if the camera holds it can become exciting days with many birds :loveshower:
