I think in the northern part of Germany they already face the storm. For my part there is alert. Found another page which shows the whole of Europe, I think I put that on my navigation bar for quick referral

I just saw all the damage the storm caused in Great Britain on the news. It's horrible. Here in Norway " Emil " will hit on the south and west coast..they think it will hit just as hard in Denmark and Sweden..I hope everything goes well for all of you..

I live in the northern part, in the flag
I have not noticed much of the storm, I was busy at work.
Only when I came out it was really intense

Felis, thanks for that Meteoalarm link. It is a good site with useful information. I tried to find a Euro-weather map this morning - failed, but you found one!Felis silvestris wrote:I think in the northern part of Germany they already face the storm. For my part there is alert. In fact, I think it should be posted in Useful Tools, or somewhere important, so we don't lose it.

Good idea, Jo! It's a bit windy here, but no storm (yet?). The next storm is on its way, I just saw in the news!

It sounds like thunder this morning.
I think I saw 6 swans and there may have been some invisible youngsters as well.

we don't have very stormy weather here, only fairly moderate winds but a lot of sleet and rain yesterday and in the night.

Earlier I caught a smaller blast of light --almost like a fire. Even though the sky is grey that one window (?) glows.
I did one photo a minute for a while. I should learn how to make a gif or a sort of stop motion movie.

In Photobucket, you can make an album of pics of your choice, then click on View as Slide-show.
umm - you don't use bucket, do you? Oh, yes you do!

I do and that works and I guess if I do not figure out something trickier --I will load some there and link it.Jo UK wrote:In Photobucket, you can make an album of pics of your choice, then click on View as Slide-show.

But there was someone who made little movies of like a whole day of images at pigcam2. I thought the sky here would be as impressive. Fleur makes fast motion movies, but I am still using GOM which does not allow movie making.
