I am preparing a video with movie and slideshow parts of the whole season.
It will be finished on Saturday or Sunday.

Here is beforehand one of my favourite snapshots of the season. Irma was working on the nest scrape and a strong wind was blowing...

Irma, Kaja, Heli, Jaak and Ivo, have a beautiful osprey life with a lot of juicy fish on the menu!
Thank you everyone for your contribution by reports, pics and videos, always with a touch of humor. The saying "All is well that ends well" applies perfectly to this season. I enjoyed being with you and love you all, ospreyholics.
mogga, waiting with excitement "the icing on the cake"!

Bea and Mogga, both of you so well explain everything, thanks!
I thought that Yvo has called Yaak on fishing. Then only Yaak (or someone another) talked long. Since then only foreign birds (not a skopa).

I must admit that logging on today and reading about the empty nest has brought a tear to my eye.

It´s been a marvellous season. I feel privileged to have learnt so much and thank you all for sharing your knowledge.

I am very much looking forward to Mogga´s video.

am saddened to see the empty nest and already miss this wonderful osprey family.
All my wishes for a long and healthy eagle life may always accompany her. I hope I am allowed to see her again.
I would like to thank all who have given so much effort and have sacrificed time to always make us happy with the latest info and great snapshots.
I continue to follow the squandered ospreys etc. from Estonia.
Thanks again, it has always been a great pleasure to read here and to receive information.

I find it very surprising that Heli, Jaak and Ivo start the migration at the same time. I would not have expected that. Ivo really was not seen anymore? Wow .... :faint:

I am a little confused and surprised but in the heart I accompany our Ospreys and wish them a good trip!  :loveshower:

Oh, what a sadness to watch this empty nest!

I turn up the volume control to hear Jaak or Ivo somewhere in the distance. But it's no use...
So I can do nothing else as looking forward to next April and awaiting Irma's comeback.

Jaak was still around yesterday morning from about 7:00 to 9:00. He was calling every now and then from somewhere.
For example at
7:15:49 | 7:20:45 | 7:23:18 | 7:28:48 | 7:32:58 | 7:50:27 | 8:30:54 | 8:33:06 | 8:36:58 | 8:46:08

So I see I'm a bit too late back...empty nest. :help:
I went back through the last sides here, Kaja was the first, Heli the second and Jaak the last for luck without the ring.
I wish our lovely osprey family a safe and good journey to the south...Ivo and Irma will hopefully healthy back in the next spring. Kaja, Heli and Jaak a good detention in Africa over the next two years and a safe osprey life...

Goodbye and thanks to all ospreyholics!
