Hello everyone :hi:

Silence on and around this nest and silence on and around the nest of Iiris-Ivo. The only difference is that a lonly half-eaten koi fish tail is lying there....

Good afternoon everyone :)

Could it have been a buzzard earlier circling around the nest? :puzzled:

I was comparing to this site

 sova :D

I have been going through quite a few pages and photos of flying eagles - juveniles and adults - and the best match for the markings under the wings has been the buzzard. Ah well, if that bird had had any manners, it would have landed on the nest and posed for the camera

:innocent:

And sorry for the paused screenshot - just too slow fingers today to get the screenshot at the right time out of the streamed video *sigh*

Good day! :hi: Sova! Thank you for the updates and pictures of the last days. Perhaps Marko flew in this morning to take a last look at his nest. :innocent:...before the heavy migration!

Since 2012, I see off osprey's to the migration. Then until spring await the their return. Irma lived up to the hope for the longest time...I keep hoping!

I have loved this family, this is my first season watching. I'm still sad about our boy, but so happy Juuli is thriving. ❤ Looking forward to next season.
