:hi: Hana,
I very much hope that the our Turek is still fine and new data will be on the map soon.
Could they stop the publication of data because Turek is already in Poland? In previous years we met this only at Żółty/Yellow (as it could already nest)

:hi: Solo,
I don't know, but I don't think there's any reason to stop publishing this stork's data. Last year, all six one-year-old storks had current data for the whole time ....
Even today, Turek does not have current data .

Good afternoon

PL - BOCZ07 ŽÓLTY (Yellow) - hatched in 2017

The last info: http://www.looduskalender.ee/forum/view ... 66#p785976

Žolty - a four-year-old black Polish stork returned from its winterring area in Greece to the Poland at the end of March 2021. Its last known location is in the area not far from several national parks (Kościan County).
At that time, the publication of its location on the map of BocianiMy was stopped (during the nesting season).

Today I received information from Mr. Dariusz Anderwald that Žolty is female, she found a partner and they incubate the eggs together. Her transmitter is working, so she's still being monitored.

Mr. Anderwald sent me photos and a link to a video from 2017, when Žólty got a transmitter on his leg:

New data:

PL - CNIG28 Turek - hatched in 2020

New data: 16.05. 12:00 Previous data: 11.05. 12:00

POLAND – Turek left Germany and reached Poland. Dates from May 12 to 14 are missing. But the night from 14 to 15 May already spent in Poland in the forests east of the village Czertyň. In the morning it flew southeast into the fields and the next day to the northwest. Its last noon location is near the village of Zaleszczce in an area with many lakes and streams (rivers), probably in flight.

Good afternoon Hana :hi:
Good afternoon to all

Hana, I am very grateful to you for the pictures and information.
Many thanks also to Mr. Dariusz Anderwald.
Our Žolty is a female, oh how nice to know.

I remember her first year of migration, she spent a very long time in Hungary. I was afraid that she would freeze there  (Solo calmed me down).

Hana, I look forward to more news about Žolty.
What is actually now; Žolty or Žolta? :D

:hi: Sova, it was my pleasure.
Mr. Anderwald promised to share current information with us when the stork chicks were in her nest.
I'm really looking forward to it.
Žólty x Žólta - let's wait under what name it will appear on the map during the autumn migration

I asked Mr. Anderwald also about the other storks, but he is now very busy ringing eagles.

And I have one more photo - here are both storks with their nest. They are so beautiful :D

There is no such name as Żółta but there is a nice Slavic name Zlata(Golden).
