Balistar, we often hope that 'our' BS will meet somewhere along the way and (maybe) travel on together, for a little while.
Yes, that would be very nice to observe. :nod:
However, I think that it does not happen very frequently. On a map, they often seem to be very close to each other, but in reality an encounter would be a big coincidence, I think.

Pikne is (was yesterday evening) in the "parcul natural lunca joasă a prutului inferior"

The Lunca Joasă a Prutului Inferior Natural Park (Romanian: Parcul Natural Lunca Joasă a Prutului Inferior) is a protected area (natural park category V IUCN) situated in Romania, in Galați County.
The Natural Park, with an area of 8.247 ha was declared natural protected area by the Government Decision Number 2152 on November 30, 2004 (published in Romanian Official Paper Number 38 on January 12, 2005) and represents a wetland (with canals, lakes, swamps, floodplains) of internacional importance especially for waterfowl habitat, or mammals, fish and plant species.

Today Pikne flew 57.2 km
S/he flew a tour around Galaţi.
Battery level: 35% (so we see only 5 location points today ...)

Does it seem that Pikne and Karl II are beginning to drift southwards? Udu is still dancing around the same places.

Pikne - 2726 km (+104 km in 2 days), flew a bit southwards, sent data near I. C. Brătianu (commune in Tulcea County, Northern Dobruja) in Romania
Udu - 2689 km (+30 km in 3 days), sent data from his/her stopover place near the Sóskúti-halastó fishponds near Bánhalma in Hungary

Fingers crossed!
Sometimes I feel scared when I come to look at the data.
There is always a concern for these birds, they are like our dear family members or relatives.
I always try to hope for the best...
... although sometimes it's hard.
