:hi:

Since Karula and the 2 "newborn" are half siblings

And... since both fathers are Karl 1 & 2

And... since the continuity servs us when we want to compare between the seasons...

I think it's possible to take off the apostrophe from KARL'S and change it to KARLS Families

Or - KATHY's family (It's the era of females  )

Abigyl, thanks for that,
It is the continuity which seems important.

There are some forums where a new topic each year is appropriate, and others where continuity is more helpful - even if the cast of players changes :D

Hi Solo. You think he sat on that roof? The data in fact show that he was in flight. He probably made a turn and flew around back.
Here's the data from the point:
Speed 25 km/h
Altitude 66 meters

1/ a simplified route from the beginning of the migration is available on the birdmap
2/ data is now sent twice a day = data session (if I remember correct) - therefore we can have 2 tracker maps a day (usually from the last know localisation and the all day) with current positions independently of the update of the birdmap

Next data session expected: 2019-08-12 at 19:44:20 (UTC+3)
today morning tracker map (Oru) by Juta:
the first position on this map: Date/Time 2019-08-12 20:02:28 (UTC+3)

yitmoth wrote: August 13th, 2019, 3:13 pm Not to change the topic (I'm worried about Aru's wing, like everybody else), but here's another thing. Aru is already being shown on the birdmap, though obviously without a migration path yet. But doesn't this give away the nest location? I always thought that was to be avoided -- and with good reason.

Jo UK wrote: August 12th, 2019, 2:23 pm On Birdmap, concerning the point at which the start of migration is shown, that point is Karula NP visitors centre. It is far enough from the nest site to be secure from intrusion. ...
