Little UDU is moving on !!! :D

Udu flew in a south-easterly direction and is currently in west Romania, near the village Cralovăț. :thumbs:
S/he flew 188 km. The direction is perfect!

Udu's area looks really nice. But he shouldn't rest too long, winters in Romania can be cold.

Karl II - 2360 km (+23 km), stopover area, sent data near Oleksandrivka in Ukraine

Pikne - 2915 km (+9 km), stopover area, sent data near Mihail Kogălniceanu in Romania

Udu - 3029 km (+185 km), Udu flew to the SE direction and sent data from his/her overnight place near Cralovăț in Romania :D

Anne, Udu probably can't read the map, but at least s/he realized you were advising him/her to move on 8-)
I would very much like to see Udu, Pikne and Katrin fishing together in Romania :shake:

Today, little UDU flew 115 km.

Around 12:13 (UTC +3) Udu left his/her night area near Cralovăț, and started to fly in the right direction: south-east.
Then s/he changed direction and flew in a south-west curve. In this way Udu ended up about 100 km south of his/her previous night area.
S/he is currently in the vicinity of Răcășdia, at about 20 km (in southern direction) from the Serbian border and the Danube River. To the west, the Serbian border is at about 8 km.

Răcășdia (Hungarian: Rakasdia) is a commune in Caraș-Severin County, western Romania with a population of 2180 people. It is composed of two villages, Răcășdia and Vrăniuț (Felsővarány).

Yes, I know, bigfan, it is hard to witness the loss of so many Black Storks.
And it's even more painful when we know them well.
We've watched the storklets grow up on the nest, day by day.
I will always remember each and every one of them.

Hopefully Udu and Pikne will be lucky. :thumbs:
Hopefully we'll see Karl II and Kaia reappear safe and sound on the nest next spring.
