Haha, Sova
Fortunately, Sova always has a sense of humor, and especially when the story gets very serious!

Yes, and I also like your opinions on this forum thread!
Btw: I will not thank you for your comments now, but only when I come to admire your documentation in your favorite bird nests! And then I thank you, as long as the administrators don't ban me!

I hope nothing has changed ... yes. :innocent:

regarding the julge thread, i agree with rita and balistar. the social network side is unpleasant, we are witnesses of kinds of confrontations which do not concern us.
unlike balistar, I don't know what a youtube chat is, to my eyes it is rather julge thread that has become an LK chat ...
Sylvielm, I note that you say "for once" Maybe it is only once in the duration of your membership.. but we have always liked to know members views. So no, not For Once.

When we started the Yesterday style of map Anne wrote "Let's see how it works out."
Now, we would like to know how it has worked out. Will members please tell us what you think of this style. Should we revert to the earlier way of making the map as up-to-date as possible?

Just to let you all know that Anne will be away for a few days.
Posting pictures at the same time as maps is something I have not enjoyed. I would never try to reach Anne's standard! :slap:
So if any member would like to fill in for her, and post any pictures that are missing, I for one, will be grateful.

Oh, now Karl II is waiting - - -

Hello! :hi:
I just have to say thank you to Sova! 8-)
(thank you Jo and Hellem, of course!)

In addition to tracking maps, I always like this overview map, although I could also open a Birdmap for that.
I definitely like to see this map here: Karl II, Udu, Pikne.
I think Udu will continue to fly south, although s/he may still change his mind 8-)
If they only wanted to, this family could meet in Romania :headroll:

Many thanks for all opinions!

Jo, Sova, Hellem,
A big thank you for the tracker maps, the documentation and the birdmap update!

Heloise :hi:

I’ll be back and participate again soon.

Anne, nice to read you. Hope everything is okay ...

Still, I have to say that I'm a little upset. Opinions were asked and some more than mentioned followed the request. None of it was pursued, picked up. The ride continues as if nothing was asked and we are left with our thoughts. Instead, greetings and thanks for the hard core.
I don't think that's okay. If opinions don't interest you, please don't ask. I don't know how Rita, balistar or Liz are doing ... I feel a little undressed.

I'm really sorry you feel upset, Polly.

I thought it was very important to ask for everyone's opinion, because there has been quite a fuss about (the timings and necessity of) the tracker maps.
I have read all the opinions (and also all the comments!) carefully.
It won't be easy to please everyone.
And I agree that the situation is still rather confusing at the moment (as if nothing has been asked and nothing has been said).

But, Polly, I cannot make decisions. I am just an ordinary member on this forum.
The administrators are the only ones who have the authority to react, decide and make their decisions known.

Actually I’m not feeling very well at the moment and I need a few days rest, but unfortunately Jo had a pear-picking accident and can’t come to the forum at the moment. And Juta is very busy.
So I’ll do the tracker maps today.

Edit: Polly, I didn’t immediately understand what exactly made you feel so angry. I’m so sorry!
I adapted my above post, in order to make clear why I said ‘a big thank you’ to what you call the ‘hard core’. Yes, I mentioned them separately, but for a different reason than for expressing their opinion.
So I now added "for the tracker maps, the documentation and the birdmap update!"
And I wanted to wave to Heloise, because she posted right above me (and is a lovely person :D)

TRACKER MAP
PIKNE - SEPTEMBER 22
https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing

Pikne is still in the same area, near the Prut River, in the Lower Prut Natural Reservation, near Slobozia Mare in Moldova
S/he flew 2.74 km today.

Because the battery level dropped to 47%, we see very little location points

It looks like Pikne has found a nice area.
