Thanks for the pictures!! I have watched almost each day, every now and then, but it has been so difficult to get a good picture of the chick. Most of time the chick has been behind the rock under parent's wings between the toes, hardly half of it has been to see..

Hi all.
I (and other portuguese watchers) have post lots of pics in the portuguese forum. It's not easy for me to post there and here. The forum (I don't know why, it was their option) only allows to see the pics to registered persons but it's quite easy to register.
Anyway, from time to time some video clips are posted in the blog and those are opened to everybody.

Yes! I just saw them today :)
The chick is huge!! With feathers growing
As soon as we understand what will happen in this nest we will see it more often:
- if there will be a chick, the cam will be changed from time time from one nest to another;
- if there is no chick the cam will return down to the other nest

Thank you garina. The last few days I missed the other family.

Yes. From time to time the cam goes there but only by luck we can see it.
The chick from this family will be born soon. Today is the 55th day since the egg was seen but they didn't start to warm it imediatly.
We think than at most in 2 or 3 days something will happen, or not.
But the GV is very curious about the egg. He kicks it with the beak ;) so maybe it knows that something is about to happen

So it is a teenager-mom and the first breeding.

Hi all
The other GV is already born but it's quite difficult to see it as the branches don't stop moving
Only in videos but since yesterday there is a problem in blogger so it was not possible yet to post the videos.
Some people say that it was born on the 10th, some that it was on the 11th (I'm almost sure that it was on the 10th but already asked for a video of that afternoon to confirm).
The other one is growing a lot and is quite funny
The camera will change from one nest to the other, and as there is very few visibility on the new nest when the sun is high, the cam will be in the morning and end of the afternoon in the new nest and during the rest of the day in the older one.
