Another disturbance - the ruff and the tail are up, the wings are spread wide, and Dad is stepping emphatically to drive the intruder(s) away:
Mom has stayed away the whole day:
Dad and the chick were comfortably asleep when the stream stopped at 21:38:

Due to the weather, the stream started a little later than normal, at 07:12:
Dad was still in charge of the chick:
He took off to warm up a bit:

All alone in the huge nest, the chick didn't look too comfortable:

Later on he flapped his wings with force to shake off the rainwater:
