Is it an new pair of little owl`s in Ww? I saw no rings.

Both owls are banded, But i will try to verify.

Every day is one owl in the nestbox. In the evening they depart in the night

A lot has happened in Holland with the little owls.
Dongen
The female has already laid the first egg in March and many days later the second egg. It looked as if she was in great pain. Suddenly 1 egg had disappeared. She had eaten it. She hatched the other egg, but there was no chick. Later, the egg stuck to the breast plumage. She took it out. She kept breeding for 10 days without eggs. Then she was "normal" again for a few days, there were pairings and loot gifts from the male. Then came the little miracle, an egg, two eggs and three eggs. Now she is brooding again. Normally, small owls have only 1 brood. I hope everything will be fine now.

Everything is okay. There are 4 healthier cheerful chicks, hatched on 11 and 12 May.

I really enjoyed her videos. And again, there was a lot to see and experience with the * little owls *.

Beleefdente Little Owl will now move to another location. Not because of the failure in 2021, but because the owners of the location are moving and the new owners do not want to have cameras on their property.
