Thanks for opening the new topic, Bea.
I can hardly wait anymore until new season begins.
@ Stefan Brücher: great job in last days of December, thank you for repairing the cam.

Action on the ledge --- on the UPPER nestplace
Leo landed in at 18:47 and Lotte can be heard calling all the time, very close. I suppose she was a bit more upside in the ledge.
Conversation between Leo and Lotte continued for several more minutes after Leo had left cam view.
Love is in the air!
EDIT !!
An experienced Eagle Owl observer drew my attention to the fact that the Eagle Owl in cam view was an unknown female (with ring on left leg, like Leo has ....) and that it was a male that called out of view.
I am clearly out of practice in interpreting Eagle Owl calls after the winter break
AND I should not be so fixated on the rings, but better watch all other indicators, too
Title of video is already corrected.
Thank you!

A morning visit (07:35-07:41), there was a short conversation between male and female short before landing in
Apologies for sound being unsync, but it was a 9 hour long recording and then the sound is often quicker than the event :)
I tried to get a view on the legs, it was only possible at the take-off and so pic is blurry ... but I think I spotted a ring on the left leg

Thanks for your up-to-date video and comment, Bea.
I think, your last pic shows a ring on left Eagle Owl leg.
...
21:21 A fat dormouse is running above the nestbowl.
22.38 Again the (same fat) dormouse to be seen, this time it is running in the nestbowl.

17:43 Since minutes hoo-hoo's to be heard. Sounds like a female.
I would like to see the "Lady", but it seems, I hope in vain.
17:55 Eagle Owl is calling nearly without interruption.
18:03 Hooting goes on for a short time.
18:19 Duet to be heard. Male not far away. But no Owl in cam view.
