How dangerous can be marten to the eagle owl eggs? I think that Lotte could be disturbed by marten yesterday because we have quite recent video with it. What do you think?

This season she has scratched the nest bowl so deep, that we probably still need patience and some luck to get a look on the egg(s)

A nosy marten wanted to have a closer look at Lotte and the nest, she chased it away immediately.
Let´s hope the marten learned it´s lesson ....

Thanks all and thanks for slow motion. The marten is clearly to be seen. I just saw the video in the diary entry. Fox and marten could be dangerous for the eggs and the owlets if Lotte is out of the house. Hopefully they will go away.
