Lotte must have heard some rustling upstairs, but soon calmed down again

Handsome Leo delivers food to the ledge, Lotte is very happy about this breakfast
Cam operator manages to make a good zoom on Leo´s ring!

Cam operator searched for Lotte and found her on the opposite ridge, where she probably had her breakfast.
We can see her taking off from there and returning to the nest

Exciting news about the Peregrine falcon with the ring! Most likely his ring code RRF was identified

Vincenzo hatched in Heidelberg and got his rings on 30. April 2019

So let´s hope that he will behave and find his night roosts out of the hunting grounds of Leo and Lotte ....

Lotte was out from 05:04 - 05:07 and 05:36 - 05:40, it was a quiet night for her

Lotte was flying out
Cam operator tried to "catch" her and we can see her taking off from a high place at the opposite ridge and returning to the nest.
When she was at the nest, Leo also came close and they both hooted and Lotte talked and chuckled over the eggs






Lotte was also out from 19:20 - 19:28

And again from 22:26 - 22:37 (got food delivery?)

At nearly every fly-out there is communication and hooting between Lotte and Leo.
I can´t say whether there is still another female around the ledge.

In the morning Leo had chosen a perching place which was not for the liking of a crow

He flew a bit more upside, but the crow was still not pleased with his new place and continued bothering him, until he took off again to find a more peaceful resting place for the day.
Lotte, sitting on the eggs, followed and commented the whole event

An egg seems to have broken, see video. Maybe it already happened when the marten fell up. Maybe that's why she laid a third egg, usually there were always two.

Lotte had a very tough night, I suppose that the other female Eagle Owl was around the ledge again and that had to chase her away, she did a lot of hooting when she was out
