EUROPEAN ROLLER

The nest is in constant order, the cleaning beetles are working, so the nest-grounds is moving. The young are "emptied" in the nest until they fly out and the parents do not take the faeces out.
Rollers are cleaned with cohabiting insects and even small married snails introduced by them, which are highly valued and not only tolerated for their presence, but almost liked.

Thank you both. Solo nice pics from the outside to the roller and to the red-footed falcon nests. :thumbs:

So two chicks are gone (fledged). Lil bit is still the loudest. :D Outside are also calls to hear.
He/she is grown rapidly over the last days. :thumbs:
