balistar nice to see you here again and thank you for your contribution. Nice shots and comments.
Yes, Pluto acts like Xavier. Last season I had the same thoughts about Budhin. They are his sons.

I wish you both a merry Christmas too.

Birdfriend here you are:

Hello, goanna. Long time no see.

And a straw-neck ibis chasing grasshoppers

And another we don't see enough. Ausralian
Sorry, pippit

and video by Cilla:
Flock of birds that flew past nest, giving Diamond a bit of a surprise. Although uncommon here, my guess is little corellas (a small white cockatoo), perfect size of prey for Diamond. But could just be galahs.

No sign of Pluto at the uni tonight, but here is Diamond and a couple of other birds

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sRSp ... ps%2B2.jpg
A young brown falcon being mobbed by a pied butcherbird

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-34mA ... 2Bpied.jpg
And here is the offender

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-DFFd ... yeater.jpg
And this a noisy friarbird being mobbed (or not) by a yellow-faced honeyeater. Might have just been a coincidence.

https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1_oM ... BHoist.jpg
And on our Hill's Hoist (dryer), a sacred kingfisher, looking very dapper.

video by BirdieCam - Peregrine Falcons Orange CSU, Pluto in the box with prey 2020 01 02 https://youtu.be/6AtsVSeuuT4
(her answer to someone: "Gaia isn't here anymore, she hasn't been seen since a few days after fledging. I'm afraid she didn't survive."  )

video by Holly: An afternoon with Pluto - Orange Peregrine Falcons (2.Jan.2020)
https://youtu.be/QhMGQAPX73M
Pluto spends the afternoon in the scrape. He arrives with partially eaten prey, and he's screaming, of course! Later on, he is napping with his back to the ledge when Diamond tries to sneak up on him, causing him to scream again. :-D Pluto also naps up on the rocks! This is a long video to really give the full flavor of Pluto, as he spends time at home."

enjoy
