Hello everyone
FalconCam Project - CSU/Charles Sturt University, Orange Campus in New South Wales, Australia
Birdfriend,
info from hangout:
First starling of the season, a courtship present for Diamond that she picked up a little while later
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmaSb_tQtKQ (by Cilla Kinros)
Looks like the first starling prey of the season. Xavier left it in the box and Diamond picked it up an hour or so later. Not her favourite food, but a good start! (Cilla - youtube info)

9:09 Two Jackdaws enter the nest box.
For a moment I thought that doesn't seem to be going well.
But one young keeps dead after being pecked by a Jackdaw, and the other bravely defends itself.

European Roller
I went through the day, poor lil bit is begging for food all the time. The breaks between feedings are long. Sometimes parent comes without any food...
Edit: I could catch some feedings for lil bit, he is a little fighter.
